TANNERY LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

Functions include but are not limited to

• Scheduling Controller (Trucking companies)
• Must be able to communicate directly to corporate personal, upper management, and security personal
• Input Data in SAP System
• Organizational skills are a must
• Filing, answer phones, and other clerical duties as a backup for the shipping coordinator
• Similar Industry experience preferred
• Assist truck drivers with any questions they may have
• All other General Logistics/Customer Service Functions
• Be able to communicate with customers
• Have discipline to keep and follow up communications with customers.
• Be proactive.
• Be able to manage employees from load out and documentation.
• Have a routine communication with documentation, logistics and production teams.
• Work in the Moore county area
• Produce documentation with reliability of commercial agreement without errors.
• Be dependable to take decisions.
• Be hands on
• Be able to work independent

Working Conditions

• Office Setting
• Employee will work 40 plus hours per week M-F with Saturday work if necessary. Required skills:
• Knowledgeable in SAP, Microsoft Applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook, but not limited to
• Loading Controller knowledge
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• People skills & Listening skills
• Flexibility a plus
• Be able to speak, write, and read English Education Requirements (if applicable):
• Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.
