We are pleased to have a fantastic opportunity available for a Branch Merchandiser to join our successful Merchandising team at DCK in our Billericay office.
You will;
•
Partner with Buying, Design and Hosts to define and deliver the brand strategy, ensuring initiatives are aligned to the critical path and commercial objectives.
•
Own and manage the critical path, ensuring key milestones are delivered on time with clear communication to the Senior Merchandiser.
•
Drive branch-level performance through space optimisation, allocations and assortment decisions, identifying opportunities across stores, sub-brands and categories.
•
Continuously review P&L performance, using data and analytics to identify risks and opportunities and propose clear, actionable solutions.
•
Create and deliver robust assortment, option and range plans, balancing newness, consolidation and sell-through, with a focus on sales and profit density.
•
Plan and manage seasonal OTB, option counts and phasing, ensuring alignment to strategy and timely communication to Buying.
•
Set and manage stock targets (total and branch), ensuring alignment to sales plans, terminal stock targets and Host strategy.
•
Drive in-season performance through accurate forecasting, WSSI management and proactive reforecasting of sales, stock, intake and markdown.
•
Review OTB/OTC and react to trading performance, maintaining control of stock levels and identifying actions to protect profit.
•
Work closely with Buying to highlight margin risks and agree actions to maintain profitability.
•
Leverage host insights (footfall, customer behaviour, business changes) to inform decisions and optimise performance.
•
Use data and analytics to drive decisions across ranging, pricing, space, stores and VM, leading recommendations for Buying and key stakeholders.
•
Maximise space and option productivity across branches, clearly highlighting risks and opportunities with defined actions.
Team & leadership
Support the team with clear priorities and consistent ways of working.
Foster a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
Coach and support team members through regular feedback and 1-2-1s, developing capability for future progression.
Lead by example, demonstrating behaviours aligned to DCK values and helping the team understand the wider business context.
