ABOUT THE ROLE

For an internet relaunch project at a leading European financial institution, we are looking for an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to support the development and operation of modern, customer-facing applications. You will work in a cloud-based, enterprise environment , contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications. The role combines frontend and backend development , as well as DevOps and application support responsibilities , within an Agile delivery setup.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using Java (backend) and React/JavaScript (frontend)

•

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

•

Support application deployment, operation, and monitoring in a DevOps setup

•

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

•

Create and execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software quality

•

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

•

Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders

•

Ensure best practices in performance, security, and maintainability

•

Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes

REQUIREMENTS

•

Strong experience in Java (backend development)

•

Solid experience with JavaScript and React

•

Experience with DevOps and application support

•

Experience in test case creation , including manual and automated testing

•

Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

•

Experience working in Agile environments

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

•

Ability to work both independently and in a team

•

Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
