You will lead on and or contribute to the development and implementation of key strategic, Operational and business improvement projects. You proactively partner with key stakeholders and develop initiatives and activities positively contribute to colleague experience and improve key business metrics. You will have a keen eye for detail and will analyse key people data and include this to support all proposals. You will be accountable for leading the Centralised Services Team, ensuring governance, compliance and data integrity at the core of the function, prioritizing service and ensuring positive user experiences. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: š»You will partner closely with the Head of People, People Manager, and People Systems Architect to deliver local People strategies and projects aligned with departmental KPIs and company objectives. Leading and motivating the Centralised Services Team, you will oversee HR administration, systems, and data management, creating a high-performing, customer-focused, and data-driven centre of excellence. You will foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring service and system enhancements are implemented. Key responsibilities include managing People Systems (HRIS, ATS, benefits platforms), ensuring data accuracy, hierarchy integrity, and compliance, as well as overseeing People Ticketing services to meet SLAs and drive process efficiency. You will compile insightful People reports, monitor data trends, and provide timely MI and analytics to inform decision-making, while driving engagement and adoption of People Systems through training, communication, and storytelling. In addition, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives across the Group People function, standardising processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency and user experience. You will contribute to data governance frameworks, ensure compliance with audits and statutory reporting, and act as HRIS and Performance Management Champion. Supporting UK and SA change programmes, you will lead consultations on TUPE, redundancy, redeployment, and other change activities, ensuring governance and a people-focused approach. You will provide expert advice on employment legislation, employee relations, and organisational development, diagnosing root causes of workplace issues and shaping solutions with stakeholders. Further responsibilities include supporting line management development programmes, business improvement projects, and employee forums, while partnering with payroll to resolve system-related queries. Throughout, you will manage your workload with compassion, tact, and diplomacy, knowing when to escalate issues and representing the company at external dispute resolution hearings when required. You have a strong background in performance support and onboarding initiatives You have proven experience of business partnering in a fast-paced dynamic environment driving deliverables that have had a positive business impact. You have proven experience of leading a centralised HR administration team, providing excellent service to business leaders whilst driving process improvements You have current and active exposure advising leaders on people change projects in either UK or SA. You have experience of using HR information systems and leading on HRIS improvements. You have a minimum of 2 years leadership experience. You thrive under pressure in a change orientated environment. You have a tertiary level qualification in HR or a related field/ or have relevant experience. You have a solid and extensive understanding and application of local employment legislation. You have proven experience of leading on audits and driving data integrity in systems. You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and my team. You are accountable, analytical and driven.
