Job Summary Summer Onboarding Specialist – Join the Miller Team Are you looking for a summer opportunity as a Summer Onboarding Specialist? This position is a temporary role and will end in August. Job Description: Onboarding Specialist (non-exempt) Reports to: VP of Human Resources The Onboarding Specialist is generally responsible for creating a welcoming and seamless experience for new employees from the moment of the acceptance of an offer through their first week of employment. This role ensures all pre-employment activities are efficiently coordinated and that every new hire feels connected, supported, and prepared to succeed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Process and manage all necessary new hire paperwork, including tax forms, legal documents, and other compliance requirements Create and distribute employee handbooks, welcome kits, and other essential materials for new employees Partner with various departments, such as HR, IT, and hiring managers, to ensure a coordinated and seamless onboarding experience Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, answering questions, and providing ongoing support throughout their initial period Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding process and measure its effectiveness Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and a high volume of information simultaneously Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including new hires, managers, and other departments Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements related to new hires #miller Work Environment LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required for the position.
