ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Technical Sourcer to support our two U.S.-based recruiters in identifying and engaging top software engineering and IT talent in the Denver, CO area. This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing (95–100% of time), building pipelines of active and passive candidates, and delivering high-quality talent for current and future hiring needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively identify and engage high-quality software engineering and IT candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced open source tools
- Conduct deep market research and talent mapping across target companies
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active candidates for multiple technical roles
- Partner closely with the assigned recruiter to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles
- Maintain accurate tracking of candidates and sourcing activity within our ATS system (Ashby)
- Conduct light candidate screening (initial qualification calls) as needed
- Provide scheduling support for interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Continuously refine sourcing strategies and bring new ideas to improve pipeline quality
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3+ years of experience sourcing mid to senior level Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers and other technical talent. Familiarity with the AdTech or Connected TV (CTV) space is ideal.
- Solid technical acumen, especially around tech stacks similar to ours (C++, Go, JavaScript, Python, AWS).
- Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other open source methods of discovering talent Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates in competitive markets including a minimum 35% message response rate
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines with an emphasis on quality over quantity
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems including leveraging automation tools, reporting and a strong sense of data hygiene (Ashby strongly preferred)
- Ability to work independently in an environment where priorities can change quickly
