Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled UX Writer with strong command of both Hindi and English to craft clear, user-centric content for digital banking and fintech products. You'll work embedded within Agile product teams to shape the end-to-end user experience — from onboarding flows to transactional micro-copy — ensuring every word builds trust, reduces friction, and speaks directly to our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Write and localise UX copy in Hindi and English across web, mobile, and app interfaces — including UI labels, error messages, onboarding flows, tooltips, notifications, and help content
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering in Agile sprint cycles to deliver copy on time and at pace
  • Apply plain-language principles to simplify complex financial and regulatory content without losing accuracy
  • Maintain and evolve content style guides and tone-of-voice frameworks for Hindi and English
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure copy meets regulatory requirements in banking environments
  • Conduct content audits and contribute to accessibility and localisation best practices
  • Champion the user voice in design reviews, product critiques, and cross-functional discussions

What You Must Have

  • Proven experience in UX writing with a specialisation or strong focus in Hindi , alongside fluency in English — both written and spoken (non-negotiable)
  • Background in banking, financial services, or fintech — either as a client-side employee or embedded vendor (strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience working within corporate or institutional environments , ideally banks or regulated financial entities
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodology — comfortable working in sprints, using tools like Jira or Confluence, and contributing to daily standups and sprint reviews
  • Portfolio demonstrating UX writing samples in both Hindi and English (required at application stage)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the GCC region — understanding of local user behaviour, cultural nuance, and Arabic-adjacent communication norms is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
  • Exposure to content management systems or design systems
  • Arabic language skills (not required but valued)
