Job description

It's no wonder we can go further, faster together.
We're a team of 450+ professionals from 50+ nationalities, all commercially driven, entrepreneurial and ready to turn potential into progress. Not just for us, but for the world too.
At STX, we're focused on so much more than making money. We're here to make a profit with a purpose. Because for us, nothing's more important than being able to trade in environmental commodities and create the most effective decarbonization strategies for our clients. Join us and together we can change the world - one trade at a time.

Your success story starts here...

TEAM & ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual, based in Singapore, to join our Trade Operations team. The team acts as the gatekeeper of all trades, ensuring every transaction is executed accurately and in line with global regulations. In this hybrid role, you will combine contract management with hands-on trade operations, supporting the full lifecycle from contract drafting to delivery and settlement coordination across global markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, review, and negotiate trading contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and general agreements across environmental commodity markets
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Execute and coordinate trade deliveries (e.g. environmental certificates), ensuring timely and compliant settlement
  • Act as a key point of contact between traders, clients, and operations to resolve issues and keep trades on track
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to increase team efficiency

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in contract management, trade operations, or a similar role within a commodity trading environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Law strongly preferred) with knowledge of contract and/or commercial law
  • Strong understanding of trading contracts and operational workflows, ideally within environmental or energy markets
  • High attention to detail, structured way of working, and ability to manage time-sensitive processes across multiple regions
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with changing regulatory requirements

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive remuneration package
  • Pension scheme contributions
  • Strong focus on personal and professional development
  • Sport and training opportunities
  • Assistance with relocation to the respective office location

DIVERSITY STATEMENT

We encourage and welcome applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to enhance our team and contribute to a more inclusive work environment. Diversity, inclusion, and belonging are more than just concepts. They are part of our everyday work culture, ensuring employees feel welcomed and build meaningful connections.

At STX, we ask applicants to think holistically about roles. If the roles sounds exciting and a great fit for you, but some of the criteria or required experience doesn't 100% line up, we still encourage you to apply!
