Baltic Amadeus client is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join the team under a B2B (business-to-business) contract . The role is focused on fintech product development in payments and digital banking, including internet banking, core banking, PISP, and open banking services. You will drive product prioritization, manage requirements, and ensure alignment between business goals, stakeholders, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for payments and digital banking solutions
  • Define, prioritize, and clarify business and product requirements
  • Align product development with business goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Support delivery of solutions related to internet banking, core banking, PISP, and open banking
  • Collaborate with IT, business, and product teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure clear communication, requirement visibility, and prioritization across teams

Must-Have Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in FinTech, payments, or digital banking
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of payment systems, flows, and financial product development
  • Experience with PISP, open banking, internet banking, and/or core banking systems
  • Understanding of ISO 20022 and XML-based messaging
  • Experience working with APIs, including REST, SOAP, or webhooks
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as PSD2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, or AML
  • Strong backlog management, prioritization, and requirement clarification skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Fluent English

Nice To Have

  • Experience working with multiple banking or payment platforms
  • Background in migration, integration, or modernization projects
  • Experience collaborating with distributed delivery teams

Hourly rate: 40-45 EUR (Gross). If you have different expectations, please let us know - we are open to discussing compensation based on your skills and experience.
