Supervisor Sterile Processing

The Sterile Processing Supervisor plans and directs the cleaning, sterilization, and processing of surgical instrument trays and the surgical case cart system for Surgical Services, multiple procedure suites, and outlying patient care areas. In addition, the SPD Supervisor oversees all the SPD staff. This position reports directly to the Area Manager of Sterile Processing. The Sterile Processing Supervisor is a leader of the SPD team who performs a variety of tasks and activities to meet the hospital's needs consistent with the scope of practice for an unlicensed practitioner.
