In this role, you'll be expected to
- Source and reach out to top talent - active cold and warm outreach to a weekly cadence, with coffees, calls, and meetings to build genuine relationships and meet new exceptional people every week.
- Keep a warm pipeline ready - maintain relationships with standout people who are not ready to move yet, so that when a role opens there is already a shortlist to engage rather than a search starting from zero.
- Build a deep understanding of each role - spend time with hiring leaders and leadership to understand what we are hiring for, so you can speak to each opportunity credibly and explain it well to candidates.
- Convert sourced candidates into hires - carry warm candidates through engagement to close, screening for genuine fit and handing off cleanly into the process.
- Contribute to how BIS finds people - bring ideas to our sourcing strategy and help build AI tools and new methods that make our outreach sharper.
- Get visible in the talent market - attend (and sometimes host) networking events and career fairs, and represent BIS authentically in the field.
- Take on full-cycle recruiting from time to time - including interviews, with support. Not the everyday focus, but a skill you will build here.

- Resourceful - you find strong candidates when they are hard to spot, and you know when a standard search will not work and reach for a different method.
- Genuinely curious about people - you ask great questions, probe well, and can pull out what matters in a short conversation.
- AI-forward and fast-moving - you lean into new tools hard and get things done at pace.
- Someone with good judgment and follow-through - you know which rules to follow and which to bend, and when you say you will do something, it happens.
Qualifications we are looking for
- Two years of recruiting experience. You do not need to be senior, but you have lived the constant-outreach, build-relationships-from-scratch grind and know you can sustain it.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter .
- A connector personality paired with real discernment about who would genuinely thrive at BIS.
- Bonus points if you have: experience with an ATS (Lever or any other - this is teachable), and a background in agency recruiting or in-house recruiting at another SaaS company.
