We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Financial Crimes Risk Management
In this role you will be responsible to perform the quality reviews of all transaction monitoring / KYC / screening / fraud workflows including reviewing alerts and cases to ensure work product adheres to relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for the team as well as establishing an effective feedback loop. You will work extensively with functional leaders in Financial Crime Risk Service line and support functions to maintain production and quality of the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality reviews of as well as be able to perform financial crimes risk management investigations
- Establish effective and efficient feedback loop with analysts
- Interpret evidence from internal and external tools and systems to determine legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple products
- Reviewing data from systems and following client procedures to investigate, decision, and document transaction monitoring alerts
- Knowledge of AML, screening and fraud typologies and trends
- Proficiency with Excel
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw conclusions based on findings
- Ability to summarize research findings in a written report
- Ability to operate in the grey space and learn from past experience and identified trends
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Maintains strict adherence to all internal SLAs and external regulatory deadlines.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to all BSA/AML related processes including, but not limited to, 314(a), 314(b), and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
- Thorough understanding of the FFIEC examination manual.
- Assist in development and administering training initiatives
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
- BSA/AML Compliance experience processing and /or conducting quality reviews of transaction monitoring / KYC / screening / fraud workflows within FCRM preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Microsoft Office, internet, and digital literacy
Preferred qualifications
- Undergraduate and CAMS preferred
- Specific experience with cryptocurrency products as a user and / or experience working in the digital currency industry.
- Experience in conducting business banking or institutional transaction monitoring / KYC / screening and / or quality reviews for all type of client entities, like but not limited to individual, sole proprietor, partnership, trusts, private and public limited companies and collective investment schemes
- End to end understanding of Transaction Monitoring / KYC / Screening / fraud operations from documentary and non-documentary verification and as per relevant policy, nature of business, source of wealth / funds and customer screening against watchlist of sanctions, PEP and adverse media
- Ability to independently research, analyze, and recommend solutions to close open items and discrepancies with client
- Reviewing transactions to establish utilization and source of fund as per expected activities
- Outstanding analytical and investigative skills combined with the ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
- Excellent understanding of transaction monitoring / KYC / screening / fraud terminology
- Should have experienced in using various risk case management systems such as Actimize
- Experience processing financial crimes risk management typologies as related to brokerage and virtual currency exchanges
- Good experience in MS-Office applications like Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook etc.
