Technical Superintendent

About the Role

Hatzi Filax Group , on behalf of a client in the shipping company, is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate technical operations and maintenance of vessels/equipment
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Manage budgets related to technical projects and procurement of materials
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (ISO standards, local and international requirements)
• Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates to senior management

Requirements

• BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within the shipping industry
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an asset
