๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ About the Position

  • The Commercial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our core commercial workflow. This role owns the End-to-End Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle, inventory management, and overall commercial enablement. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, executing period-end closings, and delivering sales forecasts to guide strategic planning.
  • This position requires strong cross-functional leadership and acts as the central hub connecting the Sales, Finance, Quality Management (QM), Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance teams. By aligning these groups, this role ensures all operational decisions are based on clear data, efficiency, and core business priorities.
  • Beyond routine operations, a key focus is building a highly optimized commercial ecosystem. This involves using operational data to identify bottlenecks, leading process improvement projects, and enhancing CRM systems like Salesforce. The ultimate goal is to design efficient workflows that deliver maximum business value.
  • Success in this role means establishing a strong operational foundation that empowers our Sales teams to achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in ITO/OTC management, a strategic mindset, and the proactive ability to drive process optimization in a dynamic environment.

๐Ÿšฉ Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inquiry to Order & Order to Cash Management
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of commercial and free trial ordersโ€”from initial contract to final invoicingโ€”for both domestic and global accounts
  • Generate and submit accurate sales forecasting reports on a regular basis to support business planning
  • Execute monthly sales order closing activities, which include processing billing, maintaining accurate master data, and updating/archiving QM-related documents
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in SAP
  • Conduct monthly stock-taking activities and reconcile inventory reports to ensure physical stock accuracy
  • Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by developing project plans, executing projects, and monitoring performance to achieve business objectives (e.g., optimizing OTC/ITO workflows and enhancing CRM systems such as Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Quality Management, Compliance, Sales) to lead continuous improvement projects across commercial operations
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and best-practice sharing to sales managers

๐ŸŽฏ Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) management and monthly closing
  • Data analysis and reporting skills using MS Office tools (especially Excel)
  • Proven ability to manage overall commercial orders, including contract reviews and sales forecasting
  • Solid understanding of master data and inventory management processes within enterprise systems
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking abilities to prioritize various tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, QM)
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong mindset for process optimization
  • High adaptability to flexibly navigate a dynamic and changing business environment
