2D/3D Animator

About the Role

We produce animated series for broadcast and digital platforms. For each project, we receive a complete creative package from the IP owner character designs, colour references, locations, and world-building. Your job is to animate within that world faithfully and consistently.

If you are someone who takes pride in precision, thrives within a structured creative brief, and understands that great animation execution is a craft in its own right — this role is for you.

What You Will Do

• Animate characters, scenes, and sequences for series being pitched and produced for major children's broadcasting platforms including Nickelodeon, Sky Kids, and others
• Produce animated trailers and full episodes based on provided character sheets, style guides, and reference materials
• Maintain strict visual consistency with source material across every scene and deliverable
• Collaborate with the production team to meet broadcast-standard timelines and quality benchmarks
• Contribute to a fast-moving production pipeline with clear communication and reliable output

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in 2D or 3D animation with a strong portfolio demonstrating production-quality work
• At least one portfolio example showing work produced within an existing visual style — not just original creative work
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender, After Effects character rigging, or equivalent tools
• A solid understanding of animation principles — timing, weight, movement, and scene composition
• Experience working to production deadlines in a structured pipeline environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replicate and maintain an established visual style consistently
• Reliable, communicative, and able to flag issues early rather than late

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI-assisted animation tools such as Kling, Runway, Pika, Midjourney, or ComfyUI to support or accelerate production workflows
• Familiarity with children's broadcast content standards and platform requirements
• Experience working on episodic or serialised animation projects

What This Role Is Not

This is not a creative direction or character design position. This is not a motion graphics or explainer video role. Applicants who rely solely on AI-generated output without a foundation in animation or design craft will not be considered.
