Job description
We are looking for an experienced HR & ESG Manager to join our Athens headquarters. This is a broad and influential role that combines leadership of the Group’s people agenda with responsibility for driving our sustainability and ESG initiatives.
As the Group’s HR lead, you will oversee all aspects of employment, employee relations, talent acquisition, people policies, and workforce compliance across our entities, ensuring that our people practices support business growth and organisational excellence. In parallel, you will coordinate and advance the Group’s ESG agenda, supporting strategy development, regulatory compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is ideally suited to a professional who combines strong HR expertise with a passion for sustainability and responsible business practices, and who is eager to contribute to both organisational performance and long-term impact.
HR & Employment
- Lead and manage all matters relating to employment across our entities and social insurance legislation, with particular expertise in the IT sector.
- Advise and support management on employment issues including contracts, terminations, remote/hybrid arrangements, and workforce changes.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for technical and non-technical roles across the Group.
- Oversee payroll supervision and compliance with ERGANI, digital work card, schedules, leave, and overtime regulations.
- Draft, maintain, and review employment contracts (full-time, part-time, remote/hybrid) and service agreements.
- Liaise with external legal, labour law, and audit advisors to ensure full compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, internal work regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Support performance management processes and contribute to the development of a strong company culture.
ESG & Sustainability
- Lead the development and execution of the Group’s ESG strategy, aligned with business goals, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate ESG initiatives across departments and support the integration of sustainability principles into business operations..
- Prepare and manage ESG-related disclosures, reports, and communications in compliance with applicable standards.
- Create and publish the company’s annual ESG Impact Report and maintain up-to-date ESG content on the corporate website.
- Monitor ESG performance indicators and track progress against agreed targets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local, national, and EU ESG-related regulations and frameworks, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- Engage with key stakeholders — including investors, clients, employees, regulators, and NGOs — on ESG matters.
- Represent the company at ESG-related forums, conferences, and industry discussions.
- Support bid and proposal teams in responding to ESG requirements within public tenders.
Build partnerships with external organisations to advance the company’s sustainability agenda
Essential
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Officer role, ideally within the IT sector.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek employment and social insurance legislation.
- Hands-on experience with ERGANI, digital work card administration, payroll oversight, and employment contract management.
- Experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and EU regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing ESG strategies and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken); Greek fluency essential.
Desirable
- Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or HR Management.
- Familiarity with teleworking, flexible working arrangements, and project-based contract structures.
- Experience working in or supporting multi-country HR operations.
- Track record of engaging with investors, regulators, or institutional clients on ESG matters.
