Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion.
- Support the Events Manager in logistical arrangements including venue booking, catering, and equipment setup.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and participants to ensure all event needs are met.
- Manage event registrations and maintain accurate attendee records.
- Prepare and distribute event materials such as agendas, brochures, and signage.
- Assist with on-site event setup, management, and teardown to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
