About The Job Danone MENA is seeking a talented Business Controller for our Maghreb Cluster, to be based in Algeria. In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will support the Controlling Lead in budget management, distributor follow-up, and financial monitoring, with a special focus on Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, managing a cross-border scope. Key Responsibilities: Work in partnership with the Demand Planner & sales teams to build IMS-based forecasts (volume) and ensure a clear bridge from IMS to TMS, analyzing key drivers including volume, stock, pricing, and FX impacts. Prepare country-level P&Ls, and identify risks and opportunities, Participate in distributor contract reviews, including payment terms, value chain, and incoterms. Act as a strategic finance partner for Sales, Planning, and Marketing teams across the Maghreb region (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia). Collaborate closely with the Head of Controlling and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Coordinate and control budgets for A&P, Trade Promotions, and other selling costs. Oversee topline controlling, variance analysis, and related forecasting (net sales variance). Monitor distributor collections and customer accounts receivable in Morocco and Tunisia, in coordination with the Business Services team. Conduct profitability analysis by SKU and manage trade promotions by distributor. Assist the Controlling Manager in maintaining a strong control environment and support year-end statutory audits, Danone internal audit requirements, and legal reporting. Propose and implement new business processes and procedures to drive efficiency. About You To be successful in this role you must have: Graduation from a business school with a major in Finance or Accounting. Qualified accountant (CPA, CMA, or equivalent). Proven experience 4-5 years in a similar role within a matrixed or multinational environment Leadership Competencies Strategic thinking and influencing. Accountability and results orientation. Functional Competencies Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP). Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities. Data integrity and systems management. Participer aux revues des contrats distributeurs, y compris les conditions de paiement, la chaîne de valeur et les incoterms. Agir en tant que partenaire financier stratégique des équipes Sales, Planning et Marketing à travers la région Maghreb (Algérie, Maroc, Tunisie). Collaborer étroitement avec le/la Head of Controlling et les responsables business afin de fournir des analyses financières et de soutenir les initiatives stratégiques. Coordonner et contrôler les budgets A&P, promotions commerciales et autres coûts de vente. Assurer le pilotage du chiffre d’affaires, l’analyse des écarts et les prévisions associées (écart de ventes nettes). Suivre les encaissements des distributeurs et les comptes clients au Maroc et en Tunisie, en coordination avec l’équipe Business Services. Réaliser des analyses de rentabilité par SKU et piloter les promotions commerciales par distributeur. Accompagner le/la Controlling Manager dans le maintien d’un environnement de contrôle robuste et contribuer aux audits statutaires de fin d’année, aux exigences d’audit interne Danone et au reporting légal. Proposer et mettre en place de nouveaux processus et procédures business afin de gagner en efficacité. About You Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devez avoir : Diplôme d’école de commerce avec une spécialisation en finance ou en comptabilité. Expertise comptable ou certification équivalente (CPA, CMA ou équivalent). Expérience confirmée de 4 à 5 ans dans un poste similaire au sein d’un environnement matriciel ou multinational. Compétences en leadership Vision stratégique et capacité d’influence. Sens des responsabilités et orientation résultats. Compétences fonctionnelles Bonne maîtrise des principes comptables (IFRS/GAAP). Solides compétences en planification et analyse financière. Intégrité des données et gestion des systèmes. Capacité à travailler en business partnering et à engager les parties prenantes. Très bonne maîtrise des outils ERP et BI (ex. : SAP, Power BI). Succès démontré dans la conduite d’initiatives transverses. Capacité avérée à respecter les délais de reporting et à garantir la fiabilité des données.
