Founding Engineer (Full-Stack)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage startup as a Founding Engineer (Full-Stack) and take full ownership of features from concept to deployment. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll have significant impact on product direction and technical architecture.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Full-stack development: Build features across frontend (Vue.js/Nuxt) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript) to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Database architecture: Design and maintain robust database schemas with PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance at scale
• Infrastructure & operations: Manage deployments, configure background job processing, and maintain dedicated cloud deployments
• AI integration: Work with AI agents and LLM frameworks to enhance product capabilities
• Product ownership: Collaborate directly with customers and operations teams to understand requirements and align technical solutions with user needs
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders using standard development and communication tools to prioritize and execute impactful features

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong full-stack development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Proficiency in Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with cloud deployment platforms and infrastructure management
• Comfortable working in early-stage environments with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
• Product-minded approach to engineering with user-centric design sensibility
• Nice-to-have: Experience with AI agents, background job processing, or startup environments
