Job description
Roboyo AI is a category shaper in Applied AI and Agentic Automation. We help leading enterprises move from automation projects and AI experiments into governed, production-grade systems that execute real work across workflows, processes, products and services.
Our heritage is in scaled enterprise automation; our future is Applied AI and Agentic Automation: autonomous agents, AI engineering squads, process orchestration, data and knowledge foundations, and human-in-the-loop governance embedded deeply into how our clients operate.
We are not here to sell AI theatre. We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs.
About the role
You will join Roboyo’s Delivery team as a Functional Business Analyst, acting as the primary domain expert and trusted consultant at the intersection of core banking operations and modern technology. You will work closely with financial institutions to analyse complex banking workflows, translate business requirements into functional specifications, and guide the successful delivery of core banking implementations, migrations, and integrations. As our clients evolve, so will your role — growing from hands-on delivery into a strategic partner enabling AI, automation, and next-generation banking ecosystems.
For the first engagement you will be acting as a Functional Business Analyst embedded in an active banking Test Delivery engagement. You will serve as the primary functional domain expert, translating deep knowledge of core banking systems into precise functional specifications and executable test cases that drive quality across a large-scale programme. You will act as the trusted functional bridge between client stakeholders and the technical Testing team, ensuring that every scenario is grounded in real banking logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary functional SME for core banking platforms, leading requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation across all in scope modules and application systems.
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex banking workflows into actionable, scalable specifications.
- Lead the functional design, authoring, and peer review of structured test cases spanning core banking workflows: account management, payments, lending, GL, regulatory reporting, and system integrations.
- Author rigorous Functional Specifications, Test scenarios, Test cases and Business Requirements Documents, ensuring full traceability to technical output.
- Define test scope, entry/exit criteria, traceability matrices, and acceptance criteria aligned to core platform capabilities and client-specific business rules.
- Collaborate with the Testing / QA automation team to translate functional test cases into executable scenarios within UiPath Test Cloud and UiPath Test Manager.
- Support defect triage — reproducing, documenting, and prioritising issues with sufficient functional context to enable rapid resolution by the technical team.
- Validate test outcomes with the business and sign-off readiness against regulatory and business requirements, escalating risk items to the delivery lead in a timely manner.
- Maintain test artefact quality and traceability across all project phases, ensuring audit-readiness at each milestone.
- Support UAT planning and execution, validating that delivered functionality meets business intent and regulatory requirements.
- When relevant - Conduct comprehensive "As-Is" analysis of existing banking processes and design optimised "To-Be" states aligned to platform capabilities and client goals
- When relevant - Lead gap analysis between client requirements and core banking platform capabilities (FIS, Arthur, Jack Henry, Archer, and similar systems), proposing pragmatic solutions.
Main requirements:
- FIS proficiency is mandatory— demonstrated hands-on experience designing (requirements gathering), configuring, implementing, or supporting FIS core banking products (e.g., FIS Modern Banking Platform, FIS Horizon, HORIZON, FIS Profile, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with a strong focus on core banking systems, financial services technology, or banking operations transformation.
- Proven ability to author comprehensive functional documentation with full traceability and clarity for both business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrable experience in functional test case design and authoring — structured test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices for banking workflows.
- Working knowledge of additional core banking platforms such as Arthur, Jack Henry (Silverlake, Core Director), Archer, or comparable systems.
- Deep understanding of retail and commercial banking processes: account management, payments, lending, GL, regulatory reporting, and customer lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience operating within Agile frameworks, acting as the definitive translation layer between executive stakeholders and technical delivery pods.
- Familiarity with data migration concepts, core-to-core conversion methodologies, and system integration patterns in a banking context.
Nice to have:
- Experience with intelligent automation in banking contexts — RPA (e.g., UiPath), workflow automation, or AI-driven process improvement.
- Hands on experience with Testing platforms (UiPath, Tosca, Selenium…)
What we offer:
- Strategic Impact: A career-defining role at the forefront of the Agentic AI revolution.
- An exciting work environment where you are valued
- Recognition for individual and team success
- An attractive compensation package
- Health insurance
- Possibility to work in a Hybrid Environment
- Individual development plan with career coaching
