- Lead cross-functional teams to execute production transfer projects from planning through full manufacturing ramp and stabilization
- Develop and maintain integrated transfer plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
- Ensure manufacturing readiness at the receiving site (equipment, process documentation, training, materials, and capacity)
- Coordinate closely with the sending site to ensure effective knowledge transfer, process alignment, and issue resolution
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate transfer risks (yield, quality, supply continuity, cost, and schedule)
- Drive execution of build phases (e.g., engineering builds, pilot builds, qualification lots) to validate process capability and readiness
- Monitor and manage yield performance, defect trends, and process stability during ramp
- Ensure alignment to quality and qualification requirements, including validation plans and criteria for transfer acceptance
- Coordinate supply chain readiness, including supplier alignment, material availability, and logistics planning
- Track and manage project budgets, cost impacts, and resource allocation
- Provide clear and consistent program communication to stakeholders, site leadership, and senior management
- Ensure adherence to Lumentum manufacturing readiness and transfer processes/checklists
- B.S. in Engineering, Operations, or related field with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering project management
- Proven experience with production transfers, factory moves, or scaling manufacturing across sites
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, yield improvement, and process qualification in electronics, semiconductor, or optical industries
- Experience working in cross-site / global manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs under schedule and supply pressure
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and executive-level presentations)
- High level of ownership, integrity, and bias for action
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to support global transfer activities
