The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT)-PRN reports to the Sports Medicine Manager. The AT will provide PRN athletic trainer coverage for local affiliate high school, club, collegiate, or professional teams as well as coverage for local tournaments and community-based sports related events. Under the general supervision of the physician, physical therapist, physician assistant and or nurse practitioner.
Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. (Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred). Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC). Certified as an Athletic Trainer in South Carolina by DHEC. Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events.
Additional Job Description

Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and Licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the SCLLR Board of Medical Examiners. Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
