The primary role of the Channel Marketing Assistant is to be the owner and main stakeholder of the Marketing project management (Salesforce, Oracle Cloud and Business Portal) systems for both the European Channel Marketing Team and Tier 1 and Tier 2 Retail and Etail accounts in Europe.
This role requires the candidate to be the central liaison point for Finance, Legal, IT and to be the conduit through which any enhancements , changes, amends etc are communicated to the key stakeholders with a view to ensuring that the marketing project management systems (Salesforce, Oracle Cloud and Business Portal) and its processes are fit for purpose and meet current financial and legal regulations. The role is predominantly internal-facing but customer contact will be required. Travel in Europe and the US may be required for internal corporate events. Responsibilities:
- Manage the end to end process of raising MDF CONTRA and OPEX projects and claims for Customers and Channel Marketing Team
- Liaising with customers to ensure that the proof of execution and their invoice is correct and provided in a timely manner
- Liaising with T1 and T2 partners to manage and support the individual marketing project and business claims procedures
- Lead Marketing Clinic on a monthly basis to update the Channel Marketing Team with enhancements / changes to marketing project management systems (Salesforce, Oracle Cloud and Business Portal), MDF Policy and process flows as required
- Main point of contact with Salesforce IT to fix any marketing project management systems issues experienced by Marketing Team and propose enhancements
- Key member of UAT team for any enhancements made to the marketing project management systems
- Liaison with IT and Channel Marketing / Sales teams for Where to Buy updates on the direct-to-consumer site
- Run reporting on budget investment, claim status, budget movement, customer activities and ad hoc reporting as required
- Manage uploading and transfer of budget into Salesforce / Oracle Cloud as required
- Maintain regional budget trackers and support with any bug fixes as required
- Train Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners on Business Support Center
- Complete special projects, reports & analysis as needed
Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing programmes
- Keep up to date with latest product technology and roadmap as well as current market conditions and competitive environment
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent. Must be technically literate and proficient
- 2 years business experience. Involvement in marketing-oriented projects strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SAP and Oracle systems a plus
- Some technical knowledge or understanding a plus
- Consumer/technology brand experience preferred
Specific Knowledge:
- Aptitude to understand storage technology & keep current with evolutions
- Ability to understand process flows Developing professional expertise and skills around B2C & digital marketing disciplines, as well as business plan and marketing plan disciplines
Computer, Software, Tools, Equipment, and Machinery Skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PPT, Teams and Outlook required
- Ability to use effective Internet/Intranet searches
- Ability to use Salesforce is a plus
Language Skills, able to:
- Clearly communicate in English (both verbal and written)
- Native German speaker
- Speak effectively one-on-one and in group situations
Interpersonal Skills, able to:
- Requires excellent communication and organization skills. Use initiative to proactively identify opportunities and issues
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with others both face to face and via online meeting tools
