Accountabilities

  • Cargo Booking & Allocation
  • Execute cargo allocation in alignment with trade capacity management strategies and space utilization objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding booking status, documentation requirements, and operational issues.
  • Collect and maintain monthly cargo forecasts and shipment prospects from customers.
  • Coordinate cargo assignments based on vessel schedules, capacity availability, and operational priorities.
  • Input and maintain booking information in internal systems to support accurate space planning and tracking.
  • Monitor booking status and proactively manage adjustments resulting from cargo or schedule changes.
  • Cargo Receiving & Validation
  • Receive and verify cargo information, including shipping requests, VIN lists, and receiving data.
  • Validate pre-shipment cargo details and communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Review loading results upon voyage completion to ensure alignment with booking plans and cargo allocations.
  • Support operational accuracy through timely identification and resolution of data discrepancies.
  • Analysis and Reporting
  • Execute monthly voyage closing activities and ensure accurate reporting of trade performance.
  • Analyze cargo and operational data to support capacity planning and business decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and provide operational insights to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management.
  • Understanding of shipping and logistics operations, preferably within carrier, forwarder, or shipper environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational setting.
