This position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching within a culturally diverse environment. Evidence of effective teaching or potential for teaching excellence at the university level, evidence of scholarly engagement, and an understanding of and commitment to supporting the mission of the University of San Francisco are required. Applicants should submit: a short cover letter summarizing interests and qualifications, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability (e.g., sample syllabi, teaching evaluations, statement of teaching philosophy), and three letters of recommendation (requested upon submission of application). Additional materials may be requested later in the process. Questions can be addressed to EconomicsSearch@usfca.edu. Review of applications will begin on June 8, 2026 and will continue until the position is filled. We invite candidates to review our website to learn more about our Master of Science in International and Development Economics and our Bachelor of Science in Economics.
