We are currently seeking a professional, nurturing, and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our early childhood education team at our center in West Peabody. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated early childhood educator who values structured learning, kindergarten readiness, social-emotional development, and creating a positive preschool classroom environment where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. Our Pre-K Teachers play an essential role in preparing children for long-term academic success through engaging curriculum, strong classroom leadership, and warm, responsive interactions with children and families. We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about early childhood education and child development Experienced in preschool or pre-kindergarten classroom leadership Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Warm, patient, and genuinely caring with children and families Knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate classroom practices and Massachusetts EEC regulations
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool classroom environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning activities aligned with Massachusetts EEC guidelines and best practices in early childhood education.
- Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development through hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster kindergarten readiness by encouraging early literacy, math, science, and critical-thinking skills.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and document children's growth and developmental progress.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Use positive behavior guidance techniques to support a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- Collaborate with center leadership and fellow educators to ensure the highest quality educational experience for every child.
What You'll Need to Succeed Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning program preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences.
