The Certified Ford Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and Ford manufacturer standards, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and Ford standards
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions across a wide range of systems (engine, electrical, drivability, etc.)
- Complete all repairs according to applicable safety requirements
- Road-test vehicles to verify quality and completeness of repairs
- Document work performed, test procedures/results, and time according to company procedures
- Maintain an inventory of required hand and power tools
Qualifications
Ford Certification required (or actively working toward certification)
- Prior automotive repair experience required
- ASE certifications a plus
- Strong team player with a customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
