Ophthalmic Medical Scribe

Ironclad & Co. is seeking detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Scribes in Palm Beach and Broward County to support ophthalmology providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and clinical findings in real-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and ophthalmic procedures to ensure comprehensive and precise record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient history, examination details, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures during ophthalmology visits
• Assist ophthalmologists in maintaining up-to-date and organized medical records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards and privacy regulations
• Collaborate with medical staff to streamline workflow and improve patient care
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and responsibly

Requirements

• Experience as a medical scribe, preferably in ophthalmology or related medical field
• Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures and Fluorescein Angiogram
• Strong typing and computer skills, particularly with EHR systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
