Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in our mission aircraft team, ensuring the aircraft’s system architecture is driven by the relevant requirements and achieves the required levels of availability and safety for our customers.

As part of Quantum Systems’ mission aircraft division, you’ll contribute to one of the most exciting German aviation projects of the years to come.

Working closely with the team around our aircraft activities, your role can span across multiple disciplines — from hands‑on technical work to system‑level responsibility.

Our focus is on getting large airborne platforms into the air and ready for real operational use.

What is your Day-to-Day Mission

•

Develop functional and physical system architecture considering system safety and relevant aviation standards (e.g., ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, STANAG 4671)

•

Drive the selection of applicable safety requirements for aircraft systems

•

Manage, develop, and validate requirements from aircraft via system to component level

•

Define safety process

•

Continuously conduct safety assessment (FHA, FTA) during the development

•

Select, evaluate, and integrate components of the system architecture

•

Define validation and verification strategies

•

Support process planning, execution, and certification liaison

•

Support system-level integration, ground-testing, and flight-testing activities
