Job description

Air Liquide Philippines, a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, started its operations in 1994 and currently employs 230+ people. We operate air separation units (ASU), hydrogen plants, carbon dioxide plants, cylinder refilling stations and depots, on-site plants and pipelines nationwide. Our main plant is situated in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and our head office is in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

We serve a wide spectrum of markets and industries including electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, metals, automotive, shipbuilding, and hospitals.

Air Liquide Philippines is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as GMP certified for medical oxygen. In addition, our liquid carbon dioxide plant in Pasig City filled the requirements for Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for the manufacture of this gas as a food additive.

The Bulk Supply Chain Supervisor oversees end-to-end bulk logistics operations, managing third-party haulers and PEZA compliance. This role drives continuous improvement and sourcing strategies, manages key system projects, and optimizes costs. Additionally, they enforce fleet safety standards, ensure daily KPI alignment, and foster a customer-centric culture to deliver excellent service.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Lead strategic truck requirement planning and scheduling to support long-term delivery requirements at minimal cost.

  • Conduct demand-capacity analyses and propose optimized network strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Supervise logistics schedulers to ensure daily delivery plans are executed safely, tracking Delivery Performance Execution (DPE) daily.

  • Identify and implement operational process improvements to enhance bulk logistics reliability, maximize fleet usage, and prevent customer stock-outs.

  • Define, recommend, and lead cluster initiative projects while handling User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system training for the team.

  • Collaborate with haulers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and safety teams to develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and resolve operational gaps.

  • Conduct detailed analysis and reporting on unserved orders, out-of-stock (OOS) occurrences, and vehicle inspection (VI) target gaps to build corrective action plans.

  • Monitor and track logistics expenses, matching purchase orders (POs), invoices, and actual 3PL services while handling intercompany PO creation.

  • Coordinate data validation to prepare comprehensive monthly logistics cost reports, month-end closing reports, and weekly fuel monitoring updates.

  • Serve as the primary link between sales, production, and logistics to align distribution schedules, prepare for critical maintenance events, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or heavy process industries.

  • Advanced proficiency in logistics management software and system implementation tools.

  • Strong technical analytical skills with proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, financial budgeting, and bulk cost analysis.

  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making capabilities to handle complex network optimizations.

  • In-depth knowledge of transport safety standards and government regulatory compliance, paired with excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder and vendor relationships.
