The Mentorship & Workforce Leadership Academy is a sponsored, elite workforce development and leadership program serving Latino and underserved young adults ages 18–25.
Our mission is to equip students with real-world professional skills, certifications, and career placement opportunities through structured mentorship, high-level instruction, and direct workforce pipelines.
The program blends the energy of a leadership fellowship with the outcomes of a workforce institute, focused on job readiness, certification completion, and long-term career growth.
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, in-house Adjunct Professor who will play a dual role as both an instructor and program builder.
This role goes beyond teaching—you will be a key contributor in developing, refining, and scaling the academy model, ensuring curriculum excellence, consistency across cohorts, and long-term program growth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional and educator who is passionate about workforce development, thrives in building systems, and is committed to empowering underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Mentorship
- Lead engaging, career-focused sessions
- Develop and deliver structured curriculum
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and certification support
Program Development (Scaling)
- Help refine and standardize curriculum
- Build systems to scale the academy
- Support new tracks and program expansion
Operations
- Track student progress and attendance
- Communicate with leadership on student needs
- Participate in planning and alignment meetings

Public Speaking, Sales, Emotional Intelligence, Communication, Career Prep, Digital Marketing, AI/ChatGPT, Accounting, HR, Executive Assistant, Media (and more)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required in a relevant field
- 3+ years professional experience
- Strong teaching or training ability
- Experience building or improving programs
- Passion for youth + workforce development
