Job description
SearchPlus HR is excited to partner with a Leading Health Care Facility to recruit a Specialist Hematologist who will deliver expert care and innovative treatments to patients with hematologic disorders. The Specialist Hematologist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide spectrum of blood disorders. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and advancing clinical practice within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history review and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret complex diagnostic tests such as complete blood counts, bone marrow biopsies, and coagulation studies.
- Diagnose and manage hematologic diseases including anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and clotting disorders.
- Formulate and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and current clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and management strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
- Participate in clinical research and professional development to maintain expertise in hematology.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with board certification or equivalent in Hematology.
- Extensive clinical experience in hematology with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- In-depth knowledge of hematological diseases and current treatment protocols.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and patient interaction.
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary environment.
