Responsibilities

As a Linen Services Clerk, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. Your tasks include, but are not limited to, receiving carts for clean linen, assembling linen exchange carts, linen deliveries, picking up soiled linen from proper storage areas and transporting to the pick-up area, sorting and proper storage of linen. Additionally, this position may be required to perform tasks required to provide clean cubicle curtains, bedspreads and other items. The linen clerk is responsible for proper use and care of equipment needed to perform the above tasks. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrate positive attitude, knowledge, skills, and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
