Bazel Migration Expert (all gender)

YOU...

• are responsible for migrating an existing build system to Bazel
• analyze and improve existing build scripts and transition them into a more efficient architecture
• monitor and enhance build performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• implement quality assurance tools such as QC or Smartest to detect errors early and improve software quality
• support other developers in getting familiar with Bazel through documentation and training

YOU...

• have extensive experience in migrating a build system to Bazel and can provide proof of it
• possess in-depth knowledge of build systems such as GNU Make, CMake, or SCons and use them confidently
• are proficient in using the Linux command line for development and build processes
• are familiar with static and dynamic code analysis and the relevant tools
• have deep knowledge of C++ language standards up to and including C++23
• ideally, have experience working on Java projects
