Job description
Reporting to the Senior Executive Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the day-to-day operations of Griffith Health. You'll work closely with academic and professional staff, contributing to projects, events, financial administration, business processes, and operational activities that support the success of our students, staff, and wider community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, records, and the flow of information across the portfolio.
- Coordinating administrative processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting projects through research, data collection, reporting, and document preparation.
- Maintaining databases, online systems, and records to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
- Processing procurement requests, invoices, financial transactions, and monitoring budget expenditure.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, recommendations, and business cases.
- Supporting committees and working groups, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Coordinating events, activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Reviewing and updating web content to ensure information remains relevant and current.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the University and external stakeholders.
About you
You are a highly organised professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support.
You will bring:
- A minimum associate diploma qualification and relevant administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing professional reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documentation.
- Confidence working with databases, financial systems, spreadsheets, and online platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- The ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience in financial administration, project support, committee administration, or higher education environments will be highly regarded.

This is a continuing, full-time position based at the Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,426 - $108,174 per annum.
