VCA Vets and Pets Animal Hospital located in Santa Clara, CA is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

VCA Vets & Pets Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, which means we hold ourselves to a higher standard. Here, we strive to deliver excellent care for pets and nothing less. In addition, we are also a Certified Gold Standard Cat Friendly Practice, accredited by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. We have recently made changes to provide a more calming environment for our clients and their cats during visits. Staff members have been trained on how to approach and handle cats in a gentle, empathetic, and caring manner.

In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64,480 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
