WHAT YOU’LL DO 

As a Business Analyst you are responsible to secure financial and analytical needs of the APAC Continent, with a focus on cost improvement. In addition, you will support continent controllers with financial and quantitative insights and ensure financial reporting accuracy and review results with each logistics function to achieve the best outcome for our customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure precision of accounting and finance activities – secure robust and accurate financial budget and forecasts. 
  • Responsible for prioritizing and performing business analysis to understand challenges, drivers of performance, predicting outcomes and generate insights to support the business​ 
  • Responsible for consolidating and visualizing continent performance data, identifying improvements, and   logistics and continent Sales with data and insights​ 
  • Responsible for developing new data models, Power BI reports and PowerApps as a complement to centrally developed tools, continuously ensuring alignment towards both APAC continent as well as sales markets​ 
  • Continent business owner of the logistics data warehouse based on globally established data agenda, ensuring escalation to central Controlling & Analytics for maintenance incidents and requests​ 
  • Responsible for identifying, initiating, and driving various data quality investigations and for supporting in data quality, validation, migration and providing input to Global Controlling& Analytics​ 
  • Close communication with warehouse, transport and trade teams to achieve the same ambition for cost control and improvement.  
  • Develop new data models, Power BI reports, perform analyses to support ad-hoc reporting requests. 
  • Identify, initiate and drive various data quality investigations and improvements. 

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with…

  • A degree in business, economics or relevant area 
  • Analytical mindset, including ability to plan and prioritize high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance​ 
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis to non-specialists and experts in other areas​ 
  • Strong interest in Power BI and/or Power Apps for data modeling and data visualization​ 
  • Naturally curious mindset and constantly looking for possibilities to develop new growth and more efficient ways of working 

And people who have… 

  • Knowledge in controlling, logistics, and related software is added value 
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex and large amounts of data (SQL etc.) through effective visualizations and dashboarding (PBI, Excel)​ Experience in utilizing technical skills in SQL in combination with other analytics tools to reach goals (e.g., Power BI, Google Big Query)​ is an advantage 
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative analysis and business intelligence​ 
  • Ability to collaborate and interact with internal and external teams and stakeholders with all levels of seniority
