Job Title : Sustainability Consultant - Regulatory Compliance
What you’ll be doing with us
- You’ll develop tailored solutions - particularly within your areas of expertise - to address our clients’ sustainability challenges and support project managers in steering these initiatives.
- You’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate and further develop your initial experience in long-term client management, project management and controlling, as well as in guiding other colleagues within the project teams.
- As a trusted point of contact, you will provide our clients with strategic and forward-looking advice, develop customized approaches together with them, and support them competently and proactively from conception through to the successful implementation of various sustainability projects.
- You stay up to date on the latest developments, particularly in your area of expertise, and track trends in the sustainability sector, evolving regulatory standards, and legislative developments (e.g., CSRD, LkSG, CSDDD, EUDR, PPWR, and many more) EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and Waste Management, contributing your insights to our expert teams.
- You will support the development of new processes and products for consulting as well as the acquisition of new business, particularly within your area of expertise.
What you bring to the table
- You hold a master’s degree (M.A.) with a focus on sustainability, the environment, or management or have comparable qualifications and have at least 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in corporate consulting or a comparable field related to environmental and climate protection and/or supply chains and human rights.
- You are fluent in English.
- You also have experience with regulations and standards related to sustainability, particularly regarding environmental and climate protection and/or supply chains and human rights.
- Your strengths include quick comprehension, interdisciplinary thinking, and analytical and strategic skills. This allows you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
- You have strong organizational skills, work independently, and maintain a clear overview even in complex projects thanks to your structured approach. You consider Excel a friend rather than a foe.
- You are a dedicated team player who prioritizes the solution over the individual.
