Job description

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships, closing deals, and growing business opportunities? We are looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth within an assigned territory.

About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling software solutions, mobile applications, enterprise systems, value-added services, and hardware solutions to new and existing clients. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions. [

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Analyse customer business needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales opportunities
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Keep CRM systems and sales reports updated regularly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and delivery
  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF equivalent qualification
  • 3–4 years’ B2B sales experience with a proven track record
  • Strong outbound sales and prospecting experience
  • Experience in software, technology, or business applications sales is advantageous
  • Experience selling into engineering or manufacturing industries is beneficial
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
