Trackman is expanding with an additional Project Manager to lead the development of our next-generation modular hardware platform designed to serve multiple sports applications, from idea generation through production and into the field. Being a Project Manager in Tracking Systems department at Trackman requires you to work closely together with several senior stakeholders in a very dynamic environment – driven by our passion for the product, the customer and sports.
The position is in the Tracking Systems department, working closely with all hardware teams – mechanics, optics, electronics, and certification – as well as our close colleagues in embedded software, tracking algorithm teams, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and production. You will refer to the CTO at Trackman. The workplace for this position is at our HQ in Science Park DTU in Hørsholm.
Your key responsibilities are

Lead the hardware project team in developing a modular platform for advanced vision and radar tracking technologies across multiple sports applications.

Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and project direction.
•
Drive platform modularity and maximise feature reuse across products and user groups.
•
Collaborate with stakeholders across Senior Management, Business Development, Tracking, Manufacturing, Operations, and Support.
•
Being a “point-of-contact” for internal colleagues such as Operations, Support, and Production for technical questions related to the platform, and drawing on the expertise of the team when needed
•
Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks, maintain project plans, and ensure timely delivery.
•
Requesting allocation of hardware resources and maintaining timelines in accordance with allocations and dependencies.
•
Representing R&D in interactions with technical supplier incl specifications and quality issues.
•
Communicate project status, risks, and progress to senior management.
•
Coordinate international product certifications (e.g. CE, FCC, UL).
•
Identify, assess, and mitigate hardware-related risks throughout the development project.
