Accountabilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts, landing pages, and user experiences designed to optimize customer acquisition and conversion.
- Build and enhance Shopify themes using modern architecture, including Liquid, Online Store 2.0, sections, blocks, metafields, and custom functionality.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative stakeholders to launch high-converting landing pages and growth-focused website initiatives.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experimentation programs to improve conversion rates, user engagement, and revenue performance.
- Continuously optimize product pages, collection pages, checkout experiences, and conversion pathways based on performance data and user behavior insights.
- Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical performance across desktop and mobile devices.
- Ensure mobile-first usability, accessibility, and responsive design best practices are consistently applied.
- Implement and maintain robust analytics and tracking infrastructures, ensuring accurate attribution and performance measurement across the customer journey.
- Manage integrations and configurations for analytics and marketing technologies, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain clean and scalable codebases, and contribute to ongoing platform enhancements and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.
- Proven success developing, optimizing, and scaling Shopify stores, particularly within direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Shopify development, including Liquid, Online Store 2.0, theme architecture, sections, blocks, and metafields.
- Strong technical expertise in HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience implementing conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, A/B testing frameworks, and experimentation programs.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition funnels, user experience optimization, and performance-driven website development.
- Hands-on experience improving page speed, technical performance, and Core Web Vitals across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Experience implementing and maintaining marketing and analytics technologies, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage performance data to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, design, and business teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with CRO platforms such as Intelligems, Convert, or VWO, familiarity with Shopify page builders such as Replo, Shogun, GemPages, or PageFly, and experience working within high-growth DTC e-commerce organizations.
- Familiarity with Figma workflows, paid social acquisition strategies, and Meta advertising ecosystems is considered a strong advantage.
