Position Summary
This leadership role is designed for a financially fluent individual that has experience managing technology investments, measuring the value they contribute to business priorities, and will hold the technology organization accountable from a financial perspective. This leader will develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track value against technology investment. They will implement an end-to-end portfolio financial model for technology, ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving rigor and operational excellence for technology at Constellation Brands. The IT Financial Management Director is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and portfolio management functions within CBI IT. This role will ensure that IT investments are aligned with organizational goals, delivering maximum value and efficiency. By implementing robust financial management practices and finance portfolio governance, this role will contribute to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the IT organization. This role will need to be familiar with IT Financial Management practices and tooling to explore continuous improvement in processes and identify enablers to uplift ITFM capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the IT Financial Management strategy using an industry-standard framework (e.g., Technology Business Management / TPM), ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial goals.
Lead IT financial planning activities and oversee detailed management of the annual IT budget line items, including portfolio and outside services.
Own the calculation, analysis, and ongoing measurement of IT Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across services, platforms, and investments.
Lead the development and execution of resource management strategies for both internal teams and external vendors, ensuring optimal capacity utilization.
Oversee financial evaluation and decision-making for IT investments in alignment with the CBI governance framework.
Establish and maintain IT finance and financial portfolio governance processes to prioritize initiatives, manage demand, and ensure alignment with business strategy.
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Procurement, IT leaders) to assess the financial impact of IT initiatives and drive effective resource utilization.
Monitor industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in IT financial management and portfolio governance to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the team through clear communication and strong financial stewardship.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in financial management, portfolio management, or related roles within the IT sector.
Proven experience in managing budgets and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in financial management or project management (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMP).
Experience with financial management software and tools, as well as portfolio management methodologies.
Deep understanding of IT financial management best practices and portfolio governance frameworks.
Proven ability to drive change and innovation in financial processes and practices within an IT organization.
Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align financial management practices with organizational goals.

Information TechnologyThe salary range for this role is:
$140,100.00 - $257,500.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
