Warehouse Supervisor - (Commercial)

Responsible for daily shift warehouse operations and associated administrative responsibilities

· Improve, drive, and maintain shipping efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, training requirements driving productivity, and associate engagement.

· Meet customer requirements; ensure productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintain quality performance objectives

· Assures product and process quality through adherence to design specifications, engineering routers, and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes and World Class Manufacturing principles.

· Complete productivity improvement projects by training and guiding hourly personnel

· Contributes to the teams’ efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Learn, understand, and communicate compliance issues related to company guidelines, union contracts, and employment laws.

· Provide coaching and guidance as required, including but not limited to the administration of the corrective action and all company policies.

· Assure adherence and enforce company policies and procedures including but not limited to Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and Environment

· Create and implement cost savings thru LEAN initiatives

· Able to perform the following: reach, bend, and lift objects weighing seventy-five pounds to shoulder level or above, read labels and shipping tickets at a height of thirty feet

· Ability to work twelve-hour days while operating a powered industrial truck

· Ability to step on and off a height of twenty-four inches to operate machinery

· Help to balance work load by assisting team members with their daily activities when they fall behind, or direct others to help with workloads of others within the department.

· All other duties as assigned
