Job Summary

This Director of Physical Therapy position is a full-time opportunity within an outpatient therapy office in Strasburg, VA. The role includes clinical oversight, direct patient treatment, staff leadership, and support for daily clinic operations.

The Director of Physical Therapy is responsible for ensuring patients receive clear, goal-based care plans and consistent clinical support throughout their rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee outpatient therapy programs and clinical service delivery
  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for new patients
  • Treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, balance, strength, and mobility concerns
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical team members
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care standards
  • Assist with workflow management, scheduling needs, and clinic priorities
  • Support positive communication across patients, staff, and referral sources
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Previous director, management, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, documentation standards, and compliance expectations
