Job Summary
Support the Maintenance Officer and Senior Duty Engineer in daily hotel maintenance operations to ensure all equipment and facilities function safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Officer/Senior Duty Engineer in daily maintenance operations within the department
- Inspect hotel equipment such as plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air conditioning, and bathroom fixtures to ensure proper working condition
- Perform small renovation tasks including painting, carpeting, and furnishing, to maintain hotel standards
- Identify faults in systems or equipment and coordinate repair work to restore functionality
- Monitor and ensure firefighting facilities and equipment are operational and ready for use at all times
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities and maintain accurate records to ensure efficiency and control
- Maintain a daily log documenting all maintenance work performed in the hotel
- Keep safety-related administrative documents current and comply with safety protocols
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues and external service providers during maintenance interventions
- Provide maintenance support and assistance to colleagues as needed
- Uphold the Accor Vision and actively demonstrate Accor Values in daily work
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in hotel, facilities, or construction maintenance
- ITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics, or Air Conditioning servicing
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and mechanics
- Positive and helpful attitude towards work and colleagues
