Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to lead the evolution of modern, event-driven enterprise applications. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology, partnering closely with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that create measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong Product Owner/Product Management experience with a solid technical foundation, particularly around APIs, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and software delivery practices . This individual will own product backlogs, drive requirements definition, and guide teams through the full software development lifecycle.
Experience within highly regulated environments such as Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Insurance is highly preferred.

Product Ownership & Strategy

Define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities.

Manage multiple initiatives while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and ROI.
Agile Delivery Leadership
•
Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog.

Create and refine epics, features, and user stories.

Collaborate with development teams to break down large initiatives into deliverable work items.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Technical Collaboration

Partner closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Support initiatives involving APIs, integrations, and Event-Driven Architectures.

Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management

Facilitate requirements gathering and business process discussions.

Communicate roadmap, product capabilities, and delivery progress to stakeholders.

Represent customer needs and business priorities throughout the development process.
