Job description

What are we building?

Hard Rock Digital is a team focused on becoming the best online sportsbook, casino, and social gaming company in the world. We’re building a team that resonates passion for learning, operating, and building new products and technologies for millions of consumers. We care about each customer interaction, experience, behavior, and insight and strive to ensure we’re always acting authentically.

Rooted in the kindred spirits of Hard Rock and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Hard Rock Digital taps a brand known the world over as the leader in gaming, entertainment, and hospitality. We’re taking that foundation of success and bringing it to the digital space — ready to join us?

What’s the position?

The Director, Ontario Revenue is a senior commercial appointment responsible for establishing and owning the Hard Rock Digital revenue position in the Ontario iGaming market from day one of launch. This is a net-new role within the Revenue Team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Casino Revenue, and is accountable for driving Ontario NGR minus Marketing Contribution across the full player lifecycle.

The successful candidate will operate as the commercial lead for Ontario — shaping the go-to-market strategy, aligning cross-functional teams to market targets, and delivering the revenue plan in one of the most significant regulated iGaming markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & P&L

Own Ontario NGR minus Marketing Contribution — accountable for the revenue number to SVP Revenue

Lead budgeting and KPI performance reporting for the Ontario market

Act as a key commercial decision point for all material Ontario revenue decisions

Track market performance against targets and drive corrective action where needed

Market Growth Strategy

Define and execute the Ontario market growth strategy across acquisition and retention

Identify market expansion, competitive intelligence and regulatory opportunities in Ontario

Develop deep understanding of Ontario player behaviour, preferences and engagement trends to surface commercial opportunities

Ensure the right content mix is in place from launch day — working closely with the Slots, Live Dealer, Table Games and Jackpots teams on game portfolio input

Cross-Functional Alignment

Align Marketing, CRM, VIP, Product, Omni and Operations to Ontario market targets and commercial guardrails

Serve as the commercial connector between the Ontario market and the wider Hard Rock Digital revenue function

Lead market-level commercial reviews — weekly, bi-weekly and monthly — with clear success metrics and accountability

Partner with the Revenue Analyst team to build state/market-level performance visibility and trend analysis for Ontario

Content & Supplier Input

Provide commercial input into game portfolio decisions for Ontario — slots, table games, live dealer and jackpots functions retain category ownership; this role provides market-level direction

Ensure content readiness and commercial sign-off before Ontario market goes live, in coordination with the Senior Director Casino Revenue

Input into supplier prioritisation and co-funding decisions specific to the Ontario market

Operating Principles

This role is expected to operate to the five standards that define how the Casino Revenue Team works:

Push commercial insight before it is requested — if someone is pulling for information, the window has already been missed

Drive commercial decisions, not wait for them — game content, marketing / promotional direction and market priorities are owned by this role

Connect insights to a point of view — deliver recommendations, not just performance updates

Flag issues early, with context — KPIs, database health and market anomalies

Operate as one commercial voice — aligned with the broader Revenue Team; no siloed market decisions
