Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Devsinc is on the lookout for Software Engineer having 1 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (ROR) and React JS related technologies. We are interested in individuals who are proficient with ROR and related frameworks and can collaborate with cross-functional teams seamlessly. The role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in ROR and React or similar web frameworks. Candidates should exhibit a strong sense of personal responsibility and commitment to their work.

Core Responsibilities

• Working on developing new web applications and enhancing existing ones using Ruby on Rails framework and React JS.
• Implement clean, efficient, and secure Ruby code based on provided specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Write and maintain test cases to ensure robustness, usability, and general reliability of applications. Debug and resolve issues as they arise.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in software development, particularly in Ruby on Rails, to improve your skills and quality of your work.
• Work closely with other developers, designers, and the product team to ensure the applications meet business needs and user requirements.
• Assist in the documentation of application features, functionality, and guides.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and version control tools i.e., Git.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, React and JavaScript. Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• At least 1 year of experience working with Ruby on Rails, React JS.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in projects and technologies.
