Job description

Position : Loan Processing & Client Liaison Specialist

Salary : ₱60,000 – ₱75,000/month

Working Hours & Conditions : Aligned with Australian hours; full-time - remote

OVERVIEW

We are a growing Australian mortgage broking business looking for a skilled, motivated professional based in the Philippines to join our tight-knit team of three. This is a genuine career-building opportunity — not a general VA role.

You will start by owning our loan lodgement and post-submission pipeline (currently managed by our loan processor), then progressively take on credit analysis and scenario assessment support (currently managed by our para-broker). Over time, the right person will become integral to our end-to-end deal flow.

We are looking for someone with direct experience inside an Australian mortgage broker office. You must understand how home loan submissions work — not in theory, but in practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Phase 1 – Core Responsibilities (Loan Processing):
  • Application Lodgement & Management:
  • Data entry into Infynity / Metanoia and Apply Online
  • Prepare and manage electronic signing of all application forms
  • Submit completed loan applications to lenders
  • Chase clients for outstanding documents and ensure application completeness
  • Post-Submission & Progress Monitoring
  • Track all active applications and proactively monitor lender progress
  • Respond to MIRs (Missing Information Requests) — collect, compile, and submit to lenders
  • Keep clients informed throughout — application status, lender feedback, next steps
  • Liaise with conveyancers/solicitors and lenders' settlements teams
  • Carry deals through to settlement
  • Deal with Post-Settlement Enquiries
  • Client Communication:
  • Handle inbound client enquiries professionally, with clear and warm English
  • Keep client interaction alive with timely outbound follow-ups
  • Support the director with callbacks to existing and prospective clients
  • Phase 2 – Expanded Responsibilities (Credit Support):
  • As you develop confidence in the role, you will take on credit analysis support to help our para-broker focus on scenario-building and BDM conversations:
  • Review and relabel client documents (payslips, tax returns, statements, liabilities)
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or red flags before submission
  • Add relevant client data into the Fact-Find
  • Run serviceability calculations independently
  • Support the para-broker in producing faster, higher-volume outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Essential (Required):
  • Demonstrated experience in home loan submissions to multiple Australian lenders
  • Strong working knowledge of lender criteria, serviceability, and the end-to-end loan process
  • Prior experience inside an Australian mortgage broker or aggregator environment
  • Proficiency in Infynity, Metanoia, Apply Online, or equivalent broker software
  • Excellent written and spoken English — warm, professional, and client-ready
  • Highly organised, self-directed, and reliable under time pressure
  • Highly Regarded (Not-Required):
  • Experience reviewing and assessing financial documents (payslips, tax returns, BAS, liabilities)
  • Exposure to serviceability calculators across multiple lenders
  • Familiarity with MIR management and lender settlement processes
  • Aspiration to grow into a credit analyst or para-broker equivalent role

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A clearly defined growth pathway — from loan processing into credit analysis
  • Direct mentorship from our senior para-broker and director
  • Stable, full-time remote employment with a committed Australian business
  • A supportive, no-nonsense team culture where results are recognised
  • Long-term opportunity for the right person who wants to genuinely build expertise in Australian mortgage broking
