About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cryptography Specialist to join a global IT security and infrastructure environment. In this role, you will support and enhance cryptographic services related to TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and certificate lifecycle management processes.

You will work closely with international teams, support critical security operations, improve existing processes, and participate in the implementation of secure cryptographic solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for certificate lifecycle management processes and cryptographic services
• Support and maintain TLS/SSL certificates and SSH key management processes
• Identify process gaps, risks, and areas for improvement
• Lead change implementation activities in cooperation with vendors and technical teams
• Troubleshoot certificate generation issues and connectivity problems between Venafi TPP and target systems
• Prepare reports and perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, issues, and operational improvements
• Support end users with non-standard technical requests and cryptography-related queries
• Respond to urgent production incidents requiring cryptographic services support
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support remediation activities related to SSH/TLS security
• Ensure compliance with change management and security standards
• Review technical documentation and provide security assurance recommendations
• Deliver cryptography-related consultancy and operational support
• Process and manage requests within agreed SLA timelines
• Mentor and support other team members

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform or other Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools
• Strong understanding of TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and cryptographic protocols
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and security technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting certificate and connectivity-related issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Python scripting
• Good knowledge of SQL / MySQL
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Stakeholder-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with global teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with API integrations and cURL commands
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with Splunk
